As part of the Road to X Games content series, X Games will host the world's top athletes in an INVITE-ONLY Park Qualifier event on June 15-16, 2018 as they compete to secure their invitation to X Games Minneapolis. Streamed live from Rhodes Skate Park in Boise, Idaho, the Road to X Park Qualifier will feature three disciplines -- Men's Skateboard Park, Women's Skateboard Park and BMX Park. In each of the disciplines, the top three medalists from X Games Minneapolis 2017 will pre-qualify for the Minneapolis event. The top six athletes in the Men’s BMX and Skateboard disciplines at the Boise Park Qualifier will receive invites to X Games Minneapolis. The top four athletes in the Women’s Skateboard Park Qualifier will receive invites as well.

Events at Rhodes Skate Park are free and open to the public, however a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase for bleacher seating to view the Park competitions at Rhodes Skate Park on Friday and Saturday. Tickets for Saturday are sold out. Tickets are still available for Friday. Get the details here.

*At 9:30 a.m. David Rush will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most consecutive axe juggling catches. Watch his attempt at Rhodes Skate Park!

The event will also be streamed live June 15 – 16 through the X Games Facebook page and YouTube channel. In addition to the live stream, fans can catch the Boise Park Qualifier coverage on ABC as part of the World of X Games content on June 23, as well as coverage across X Games digital and social platforms.


New in 2018

X Games Family Zone

Join us in the Road to X Games Family Zone for FREE games and activities for kids of all ages. Located inside the event area at the corner of S. 15th Street and W. Front Street, the Family Zone will be open Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Boise Parks and Recreation’s Mobile Rec team will coordinate games, there will be free art activities and face painting throughout the day and Discovery Center of Idaho will also be coordinating activities for kids. Plus, other interactive booths will be on site throughout the two-day event.

Saturday, June 16 the Micron STEM bus will join the fun and the Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance will host a bike rodeo for kids from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Food and Drink

Food and drink vendors will also be on site Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. so fans can grab a bite to eat without having to leave Rhodes Skate Park! A beer garden, hosted by beverage sponsor Lost Grove Brewing, will be open for adults 21 years of age and older.

Live Music

In addition to the Skateboard Park and BMX Park events, the City of Boise has added a live music stage to the festivities this year that is FREE and open to the public! Local bands will play sets all day Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16. Click here to check out the schedule!
